We offer specialist resilience support for young people and secondary school children
Worth-it provide one to one resilience support and group resilience coaching and workshops sessions for secondary school children and young people aged 13+. We enable them to reduce mental health problems and improve overall mental wellbeing and resilience to achieve positive outcomes.
One to One Resilience Support
The young people will access targeted support from one of our trained Key Workers, who will see them on a regular basis for a set period of time, usually between four and six sessions. During these sessions, they will receive an effective resilience programme tailored to them, and build an effective working relationship with the Key Worker. Their key worker will coach them through a process where they will learn to articulate their feelings, develop personal resources and gain assets that contribute to them being resilient and improve their mental well-being.
Through this process young people become self-aware, and develop emotional literacy, appreciating the difference between stress, anxiety and anger. They will grow in confidence and work towards overcoming issues such as isolation whilst developing skills that build positive peer relationships.
They will learn to develop trust and talk about problems they may have been bottling up. They will be able to regulate and control their reactions, learn to ask for help and reduce the negative coping strategies they have previously relied on (which can include avoiding school, self-harming or substance misuse).

Resilience Workshops and Small Group Resilience Coaching
Worth-it provide a range of one of workshops or small group coaching sessions which suport young people to develop resilience stratagies that improve wellbeing and help prevent mental health problems.
Our resilience workshops for young people are taliored to the school, organistaion or groups needs and draw on a range of wellbeing science approaches proven to promote positive mental health and prevent mental illness.
