Our Collaborations and Partnerships

Collaboration is one of our organisational core values. We are proud to work in partnership with several organisations nationally. Organisations we work with include the; children and young peoples sector, education sector, health sector, welfare to work sector and the voluntary and community sector.

We have developed large scale social impact programmes that prevent mental health problems in children and young people, either directly through interventions we have developed or indirectly through workforce development training programmes that increase the capacity and capability of the children’s workforce. We have collaborated on targeted interventions for young people at risk of mental health problems and becoming NEET as well as crime prvention projects.

Below is a list of just some of the organisations we partner and the projects we collaborate on.

Early Intervention Through Peer Mentoring. Bedford CAMHS, Bedfordshire

Funded by East London NHS Foundation Trust Worth-it are working with Bedford CAMHS school link team, Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire council to provide a peer mentoring early prevention service for Bedfordshire secondary schools.

Whole School Resilience. Consortium, Leicester and Leicestershire

Worth-it lead a consortium of partners to deliver the large scale mental health prevention programme in Leicester and Leicestershire schools. Partners included Leicester NHS Partnership Trust, SDSA (school development support agency) and Time to Change the national mental health anti stigma charity.

Early Intervention and Prevention. Kids Inspire, Essex

Our partner Kids Inspire, help disadvantaged young people turn their lives around and gives them back their future. Kids Inspire are licensed to deliver our FIRST early intervention and prevention programme, for vulnerable young people in mid Essex schools and the community.

NEET Prevention. Form the Future, Cambridge

Form the Future increase the employment opportunities for young people and prevent young people becoming NEET. Worth-it provide training in mentoring skills and how to build resilience in young people to all business mentors as part of Form the Future’s mentoring scheme in schools.

Inclusion and Special Educational Needs. Blooming Genius, National

Genius Within are passionate about developing talent and achieving success with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette Syndrome, Mental Health, and all neurodiversity conditions. Worth-it partner Blooming Genius, to provide a holistic approach to whole school inclusion for children and young people with diverse needs.

School and Family Wellbeing, Oval Learning Trust, NW Leicestershire

Oval are a multi academy trust of five small rural primary schools in North West Leicestershire. Funded by Leicestershire County Council’s Shires grant, Worth-it have provided training and support to develop a trust wide approach to developing sustainable wellbeing that positively impacts the family and community.

Crime and ASB prevention, Police Crime Commissioner and Go-Getta, Charnwood

With the aim of preventing and diverting young people from offending, reducing crime and anti-social behavior (ASB), the objective of Worth-it’s commission was to help young people to change their thinking and behavior and to positively impact on the home environment, creating whole family change.

Worth-it worked in partnership with youth work organisation Go-Getta CIC through the Leicestershire PCC Grant 2015/16-2016/17 for interventions that pro-actively reduce anti-social behaviour in designated locations in Charnwood.

NEET prevention, Talent Match, NW Leicestershire

In partnership with Princes Trust and as part of the Big Lottery Funded Talent Match programme Worth-it Delivered group and one to one coaching interventions to remove barriers to work and improve the resilience, confidence and motivation of NEET 16-25 year old’s in NW Leicestershire.

Bridge to Work, NEET Prevention, Leicestershire

In partnership with Loughborough College, Worth-it worked with several schools in Leicstershire to provide early prevention as part of the Bridge to Work scheme. Thr programme tartgeted young people at risk of disengaging in education and becoming NEET with poor mental wellbeing , lacking in confidence, motivation and resilience. We delivered our FIRST programme in Limehurst Acamdey, De Lisle and Wreake Valley Academy.

Loughborough College’s Bridge to Work programme led to the college being named winner of The Association of Colleges (AoC) 2013 Beacon Award for College/School Partnerships.

Childrens Workforce Development Training, Leicestershire

In partnership with Leicestershire County Council Public Health and Leiestershire Healthy Schools we delivered workforce development training to the children and young people’s teir 1 workforce for three years. The training increased the workforce’s capacity to imporve the wellbeing and resilience of children and young people across Leicestershire.

School Wellbeing Early Intervention Programme, Calderdale

As part of the Calderdale Wellbeing Project, Worth-it delivered multi school training to increase capacity within schools to improve mental wellbeing and prevent mental health problems. We also intensively supported several Calderdale secondary schools develop whole school wellbeing.

Staff Resilience Training. Kingswood Inspired Learning, National

Worth-it work in partnership with Kingswood to provide resilience training for the children’s workforce. The residential training sessions provide dynamic active learning, developing resilience through a combination of outdoor pursuit activities and psychological resilience training.
